It's hard to believe that the best can get any better but it happened at Ward Springs. Twenty-two years ago, the annual 4th of July parade in Ward Springs started with five entries in the parade and a handful of spectators. This year? The parade lasted for 45 minutes and hundreds of people sat back and watched while the kids scrambled for the "tons" of candy tossed by the parade entrants. Ever since the invention of the super squirt guns, the parade had been getting wetter. And boy, was it wet this year...and a ton of fun!
